zomg zomg zomg.

hi there. AGAIN!

pick up line quoted from amanda.

boy: Hi girl! Do you like water?

girl: Yes, I think so. (;

boy: WOW! THEN YOU MUST LIKE 70 % OF MY BODY!

ps: notice I used 'boy' instead of like guy or man? I thought that someone who said this must be lame and immature, hence the usage of 'boy'

pss: I really wonder what happens if the girl answers "NO". Wouldn't that ruin the whole joke?

psss: Why didn't the boy feel sad because the girl only liked 70% of his body and not 100%?

pssss: I know, I'm feeling a tad lame. Okay, not a tad, scrap that. I AM FEELING EXTREMELY LAME RIGHT NOW.

psssss: I've broken my record of not posting in weeks, to now, posting thrice a day.

see the effect cap has on people?

ps: I love figurative speech :DDDDDDDDDDD

zomg, something really lame just happened.

I was discussing some politics with my dad, then he said he had to go to the loo to you know(what else can he do in the loo)

anyway, so yes.

then I was like, I think you spend almost half of your life in the toilet!

and then he started telling me this story about some plant and some bird.

It went like like this:

dad: You know there's this kind of mee soto(obviously he forgot the name of the plant) plant?

me: errrrh, no.

dad: You know the christmas tree kind of plant?

me: no.

dad: anyway, I saw this documentary about this plant. The plant will bear fruit right and there will be birds who will come and eat the fruit. They will suck the fruit out like a rambutan and the flesh is white (i don't see how this part is relevant, but anyway). After that the bird will shit! and the shit will be sticky! The bird will shit on the tree trunk, and then another mee soto plant will grow!

-he grins-

-I stone-

-he walks out of the room, looking pleased with himself-

me: that.. that was... lame.
(haha, i should have said WOW, okay, only martha and shirley will get the joke)

-he turns back-

dad: whatever.

that was really funny.

ps: i have no idea why i keep posting, i guess its stress relief from the recurring writer's block.

anyway, really really really BACK TO CAP!

title:

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak...'I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, 'What you got there, son?' 'Just some old birds,' came the reply.

'What are you gonna do with them?' I asked.

'Take 'em home and have fun with 'em,' he answered 'I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time' 'But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?'

'Oh, I got some cats,' said the little boy. 'They like birds. I'll take 'em to them.'

The pastor was silent for a moment. 'How much do you want for those birds, son?'

'Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!'

'How much?' the pastor asked again.

The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, '$10?'

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.

The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. 'Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!'

'What are you going to do with them?' Jesus asked.

Satan replied, 'Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!'

'And what will you do when you get done with them?' Jesus asked. 'Oh, I'll kill 'em,' Satan glared proudly. 'How much do you want for them?' Jesus asked

'Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!'

'How much?' He asked again.

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, 'All your blood, tears and your life.'

Jesus said, 'DONE!'

Then He paid the price.

The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.

title: I LOVE YOU LOTS

GAH!
I probably shouldn't be here right now but I promise I will get back to work really soon.
Actually I don't really know what to update about since so many things happened and all of which are extremely touching issues.

I just really want to thank xuwen, alison, sharon craw, amelia, martha, megan, yvette, swee en, barney, vk, esther, melody and maybe just everyone in debate.
It has been really difficult, talking about our emotions and all.
But I hope things will get better.
I know this sounds emo and all but all of us have those days and I just pray that we will get over this quickly.

Anyway, a GREAT BIG HUG to xuwen for sharing with us all and we are really sorry for causing so much trouble and maybe indirectly causing your break-down. (oops, I just said it on the world wide web.) but yes, it was really hard to handle all of this especially when we are so small a cca.

We will definitely be more open towards Mr Philip and perhaps tell him our concerns directly.
We will work harder together too and support the JG's team!
Oh no! Am I actually looking forward to bangs?!?!?
anyway, the price of breaking is worth it all.
bangs it shall be!
okay, so I REALLY LOVE DEBATE! AND DND! AND XUWEN!

oh and did I forget that 6 essays still await me?
commonwealth commonwealth commonwealth why fore art thou harrasses me?
(gosh, was that even english?)
anyway, besides commonwealth there's capcapcapcapcap!
I really want to get in although its darn(this is not an expletive) hard to get in.
I'll try anyway, and keep my fingers crossed.
flow into me, inspirationnnnnnnnnnn!

I really hope I will be able to juggle debate, drama, council and everything else.

thank you lord for helping us all get over the emotional issues in debate and I pray that they will be resolved.
I also pray that you will give me the strength to handle all my responsibilities and commitments and bring glory to you Lord.
Please shower upon the JG's team the wisdom, the strength and the willpower to glorify your name Lord, and as long as we have done our best, let them feel contented.
Lastly, I pray that you will forgive me for all the sins I've committed and continue to guide me in my life, every step of the way and use me to do things to serve you.
Thank you for everything you have given me, family and friends, and may you continue to protect them and keep them safe.
all this I pray in Jesus' most holy name, amen.

title: sec one orientation!

haha, it went much better than expected even though there were quite a few hiccups here and there. so anyway, this is an update because it is worth updating about.
haha, so denise (sec four), boon yen, qing and I were psl-ing sec one LOYALTY! (the best sec one class ever haha) they are the mep class okay! pro man.
okay, so I was quite worried initially that they would be very gentle and soft-spoken due to the pre-concieved idea that they express themselves through music. haha, but some of them are really noisy! okay, this brings back sweet, nice memories and they are seriously, awesomely cute! geesh! they are really really really really really really CUTE!!!

okay, anyways thursday was mostly family dance and cheers. we didn't really get to interact with them so yes. the camp started on friday and it was mainly games. it was pretty tiring and we had to run from end to end of the school because the stations were so far apart! but we still had fun nonetheless. I tried remembering names too! but realised that i hopelessly suck at it ): don't tell the sec ones okay? haha, we didn't manage to finish all the stations in the end but we still did well and I felt them gel together as a class (wait, how can I feel them gel?) anyway, yes. we didn't really encounter any difficult cases which was a very good thing :D
the highlight of the camp was the campfire! and I myself was very excited about the dropping-cum-flying fire that would light the campfire. it was so cool okay! so we actually planned to perform a few cheers and songs with actions but due to time-constraint, we could only do one cheer. and of course it had to be loyalty's trademark lllmo (elmo, haha) cheer!
okay, it goes like this:

LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA
WE'RE NUMBER ONE! (MIGHTY ONE!)

LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA
WE'RE HAVING FUN! (IN THE SUN!)

WE CAN DO MUSIC! (not us, but them) AND STUDIES TOO! (not us, again, haha)
THAT'S LOYALTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND THEN CHEER SCREAM SHOUT.

hahaha, it was very fun! i think they did their best during the camp fire! and we won the best class cheer award!
haha, okay.

I can't really remember what exactly happened but it still feels very high and good.
I have no idea how to say this, but the feeling is really really special.
It feels like you have adopted so many children and all of them means something to you (even though I can't remember all their names. there are 35 okay!)
yes, this feeling is indescribable but I'm really missing them right now.
and when they had to go home, I really felt kind of sad.
like we can't see them and spend the whole time again.
we can't scream : 1L! close up the gaps! 1L! greet debate(hahaha, just felt like mentioning debate:DDD)
it will be difficult adjusting to life without them all over again.
it's just difficult! and I miss them luh!

ohoh did I tell you about how I autographed in every of their camp booklet and wrote: JOIN DEBATE!!!
yes, i did. and guess what? the most number of sec ones from loyalty signed to join debate!!! YAY!
oh and did i mention that I slept for only one hour?? I was about to not sleep altogether! but my brain cells were committing suicide! I gave in to temptation. oh well.
oh and did i tell you that this girl told me that she enjoyed the bathing part of the camp?! LOL! so cute right?
oh and did i tell you that - oh wait, alison said that if i tell others, that wouldn't be ---- anymore.
oh well, then i shouldn't say it.
oh and did i tell you how much i miss SEC ONE LOYALTY NOW RIGHT AT THIS INSTANT!
AWW MAN!
anyways, I'll try to visit as often as I can! :DDD

It was a great experience and I've never regretted being a psl (even though I didn't volunteer)
It was a very fulfilling experience even with the countless hiccups.
and it allowed me to know qing better! and how lame she is compared to her solemn serious self (alliteration lol!) haha. Carolyn Chan Ching Ching. but i still prefer to call her qing:DD

PS: Thank you esther for ... everything! It's so hard! but I'll succeed. I will keep praying for both of us. Thank you very very much! You have no idea what this means to me. We totally have telepathy okay! haha:D

PSS: I really miss camp now and our cheer and 1 LOYALTY!

PSSS: I really hope the whole of loyalty will go audition for debate!

okay, I really have to go now! and I still miss 1 Loyalty.

but I'm still happy for having experienced it and having these wonderful, truly amazing memories. at least it made me feel sec one all over again :DDDDDDDDDD

I LOVE YOU 1 LOYALTY!

title: happy hippie new year!

I know this is kinda late but its here nonetheless.
so, this was the first time in my life spending countdown in church.
I have no idea why I've never realised this before but yes.
It wasn't exactly high and noisy like what I imagined the suliso(sp) beach party nor the marina bay fireworks thigy, but it was okay.
okay, so, new year resolutions?
most of them are kept secret but the most important of all is to honour God in my life; to lead my life in His image; to try and outdo myself and not compete with others; to treat results and achievements secondary but more importantly do my best for Him, his glory and not my own. That would be hard. really really hard. In this highly competitive society, I admit that many a times I'm doing things for myself, competing for myself and always putting results and achievements first. I realised all of that has made me feel sad most of the times because I cannot achieve what I have in mind. And that has been tiring.
so, this year, I'm gonna pray hard everyday for God to help me lead my life in His image; to treat results and achievements secondary and to do my best for Him and Him alone so that He will rejoice over the fact that I'm not competing for myself but for HIM.
yes, I'm gonna try very hard :D

on to a lighter note, first day of school was okay but I did not manage to interact with my class at all due to duties. I guess they are nice people based on the few brief moments when I was in class. But then again I'm kindof afraid because I don't know many people there(disadvantages of being in drama class).
Anyway, I'll try to know them better muahaha!
hmm, and now on to updates on psl-ing, yes indeed we have to work much harder and get things organised. Let me think about that, yes.

and have I told you about my form teacher? She's utterly cool! she wrote us this page long letter and asked us to write back to her! I think we'll be having a great year ahead! even though I don't really like chem and she teaches chem. haha.
well, at least she's cool and likes to talk! and hardly any teacher would write you a page long letter and ask you to write back. its genuine concern, and its appreciated!

Ohoh! and erina and christine came back yesterday!!! I really miss them, life without them in SN would be?
So anyways, because erina told me in the holidays that she would be wearing a dress on the first day of school to come see us, I was expecting her to be in a dress but she turned up in this ahem-revealing-ahem shirt thingy(like always; memories of when she came to my house ><>

me: hey erina, why aren't you in a dress? I thought you said you would come in one?
erina-the-gross: oh! -grins- I'm bleeding! -grins-
(just then someone or i think christine said "bleeding love")
(I was like o.O? haha? was it meant to be funny?)
(this is an explanation to my retarded and slow reaction: I woke up at 1pm on 1st jan and therefore I could not sleep that night. at all. so I woke up, grumpy and late and therefore my brain was hibernating, yes, just had to tell you that, hah)
anyways, moving on... me: -stones a while-
(and I've no idea why but I kinda got what it meant...)
and then I was like: ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
and erina: -bursts out laughing-
I was so grossed out I walked away to buy food haha.

and then there was part two. note, we were all sitting down and joanna, megan, jeanette(i think) and I were eating. and I do not know how or why, but someone brought up that topic again(definitely not me!) and I was really grossed out when they kept saying the 'b'word.

so I was like: hello? we are eating!!! then, megan oh megan, stoned. then, stoned somemore.
and then, she still stoned. and said: huh? what bleeding?
-everyone erupts into maniacal laughter with the exception of me, I was just grinning you see- and then yadayadayada. what would you expect megan's reaction to be? and then she finally got it. yes.
so anyway, christine got me this christmas spongebob!!! thank you so very much! it's very cute! and she said: you remind of yellow! and so when i saw it, it was yellow!
so yellow = you! so this = you!
haha, anyways, one more to add to my collection of stuffed toys! yay! so, yes.
we pretty much had fun and I will really miss them, dear them.

hmm, a pretty long post, to maybe make up for the many not-going-to-post days or even weeks. so there, wishing you a happy new year ahead and truly do it for Him, for you will get your rewards in heaven :D

ps: colour it purple again? or maybe...
nope, it has to be purple. its such a significant milestone! purple it is!
