haha, I am now imagining the kfc jingle bells hand sign song thingy.
anyways, christmas is almost here!
but i have yet to get christmas presents!:(
I must hurry go get them before its too late!
whats christmas without the presents right?
but we still have to remember Jesus, the sole reason why we are actually celebrating christmas.
by the way, did you know Jesus was actually born around march, and not actually december?
i remember one day years back during sunday school, the teacher said something like that(as far as I can remember owing to my brain and memory).
I was actually quite proud at discovering this amazing fact and after sunday school I was so excited and went to tell my mum.
But what my mother said kind of struck me and made me realise how I didn't have to be so happy after knowing that Jesus wasn't actually born on christmas.
she said the exact date when Jesus was born wasn't exactly important.
what was important was the fact that christmas was a time of the year when Jesus existence was celebrated, and how it reminded us of all his sacrifices and selfless-ness.
this is kinda hard to describe, but its more of the significance than the exact facts and figures.
and, I think I just thought of why presents are so important(even though I should not think this way><)
My analysis is presents is sort of a channel which we can spread the gospel/ message/ love in a neutral way.
I say its neutral because at times when you want to share the gospel, non-believers may get put off at the "holiness" or such at your speech or lecture.
So, I concluded that when you give someone a present during christmas, and even if that person is a non-believer, she will still accept it right?
I mean who won't?
Yeah! That's why presents are very important because it helps spread the gospel! and it may help influence non-believers to want to know more about God and his works.
So, getting christmas presents are extremly important!

so, it is kind of sad that I haven't exactly started buying christmas presents.
which is a very sad thing considering the time left and the number of presents I'll have to get!
anyways, at least I've designed a few scrapblogs already!
but I just realised I can't print them out...
hmm.
this is nerve wrecking.
Nevermind, training tomorrow!
and then maybe christmas shopping at vivo with megan and then caroling.
I hope tomorrow will be fun!
and I will actually find suitable christmas presents!
